郑宁 (中国)

1958年生于宁夏银川,1982年毕业于中央工艺美术学院并留校任教。现为清华大学教授、博士生导师、清华大学茶道艺术研究所所长、清华大学教学专家顾问组成员、北京市高等院校艺术教育研究会理事、中国博士后科学基金会评审专家,中国美术家协会会员、中国美术家协会陶瓷艺术委员会委员、“第十一、十二届全国美术展”、“第二届中国当代陶瓷艺术大展”等展览评委,ISCAEE国际陶艺教育交流学会副会长、韩国世界陶艺双年展国际委员。

作为创始人之一,能否谈谈您创办国际陶艺教育与交流学会的感想?

Could you talk about establishing ISCAEE as one of the founders? 

 
 

 

我们一开始创办时并没有想过会发展到这么大的规模,原来只是做中国,日本,美国三国交流,利用大家的暑假假期组织中国和日本学生到美国去,或者日本和美国学生到中国来,以及中国,美国的学生去日本,规模比较小,后来土耳其也参加了。1999年在中国北京的原中央工艺美术学院大规模办了一次,从那开始就每年一次。到了2004年做到一定程度,我就跟东京艺术大学的岛田文雄教授聊可以做一个学会。2005年的时候在墨西哥开了个预备会,2006年正式成立了学会。第一届是在清华大学美术学院办,规模比较大。办完四,五届以后大家都觉得太累了,每次办都需要有大的投入,也要花很多精力。从2013年开始决定每两年一次,2015年在中国,2017年在英国,2019年在韩国。昨天我们开了组委会,决定2021年在中国北京举办。因为中国面积大,陶瓷产区多,我们一般是从北京带去其它地方,2015年我们是到了景德镇和宜兴。 

 

We didn’t dreamed of a start and develop to such a large scale, it was just started with China, Japan, the United States, exchanged among three countries, and brought Chinese students and Japanese students to America, brought Japanese students  and American students to China, or Chinese students and American students to Japan in summer holiday. the scale was relatively small, Turkey joined the program later. In 1999, the former Central Academy of Arts and Crafts in Beijing, China, held a large-scale event, and it has been held every year since then. To a certain extent in 2004, I talked to Professor Fumio Shimada of Tokyo University of the Arts about why not to start a society. A preparatory meeting was held in Mexico in 2005 and the society was formally established in 2006. The first conference was held in the Fine Arts School of Tsinghua University with a large scale. After four or five conferences, we all feel it was  too exhausted. Every time we held the conferences, we need to put in a lot of effort and also a lot of energy. From 2013, committee decided that conference would be held every two years. So, 2015 in China, 2017 in the UK and 2019 in South Korea. Yesterday we held the organizing committee and decided to hold next conference in Beijing, China in 2021. China has a huge land area as well as many ceramic producing areas, we usually take them from Beijing to other places. In 2015, we went to Jingdezhen and Yi Xing. 

 

 

 
 

您来参加此次国际陶艺教育交流会议有何感想?

What do you feel about attending ISCAEE conference?

 
 

 

这次来了200多位院校师生,很高兴看到与会者越来越多,但是也有责任去思考怎么让活动延续下去。我们以前在中国办这种规模活动需要带领大家去其它城市参观,大家集体移动是比较难以控制的。我们那时候包了三节火车卧铺车厢,一个车厢66个位置,全都是我们的人。 我们现在就在考虑2021年北京承办的具体方式了,比如从北京出发到什么地方去参观。一般来说都会到景德镇去。景德镇是保留项目,可看的东西比较多。

 

There are more than 200 students and teachers from colleges and universities attended this conference. I am glad to see more and more participants, but I also have the responsibility to think about how to make ISCAEE continue. We used to take people to visit other cities in order to hold activities of this scale in China. It was difficult to control the collective travelling of many people. At that time, we rent three sleeper cars, each one with 66 seats, three sleeper cars are all our people. We are now considering the specific way of hosting in 2021, such as where to visit from Beijing. Generally speaking, they will go to Jing Dezhen. Jingdezhen is an repertoire because there are many things to see.

 

 

 
 

您对此次会议有何期待?

Do you have any expectation for the conference? 

 

 
 

 

我在思考如何在将来和产业结合起来,如何让这个活动能良性运作起来,我是希望将来由企业来承办这个活动,目前只是想法。从创办者角度来说还是更希望多向各国学生展示陶瓷的传统技法,做传统技艺交流是我们创办的出发点。鼓励学生学习世界各地的传统制瓷技法然后融入到生活中,我希望通过这个机制把这个实用型的传统技艺推广出去,深入到民众当中,不光是大家聚到聚会交流,让这个活动能自己产生效益。尽管现在还不行,希望将来有一天能形成一个产业。

 

I am thinking about how to combine with the industry in the future and how to make this activity operate in a benign way. I hope the enterprise will undertake this conference in the future, but it is just an idea at present. From the perspective of the founder, we would like to show more traditional ceramic techniques to students from all over the world. The starting point of our establishment is to exchange traditional techniques. I encourage students to learn traditional porcelain making techniques from all over the world and then integrate them into their lives. I hope that through this mechanism, this practical traditional technique can be promoted to the public, not only for people to get together and communicate with each other, but also for this project to produce benefit by itself. Although not now, hopefully one day it will form an industry.
